VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

Thank you for your interest in the Town of Niagara Recreation Department.  For the upcoming 2018 season, we are looking for experienced parent volunteers to coach our Girls 11U, Girls 14U, Boys 12U, and Boys 15U teams.  All interested parties must fill out an interest form – which details your baseball / softball experience as well as provides contact information.

Responsibilities of parent volunteers include:
(1) Overseeing team management
(2) Scheduling and conducting team practices
(3) Being present at all games
(4) Represent the Town of Niagara in a dignified manner
(5) Upholding the Town of Niagara Mission statement.

Equipment, uniforms, umpires & game schedules are provided. Games will take place Monday-Thursday evenings. Practices and games run from the beginning of May through the end of July.

 

EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION

The Town of Niagara Recreation Department is also hiring seasonal staff for the following positions:

(1) Concession stand operators
(2) Special Event Workers
(3) Splash Pad supervisors
(4) T-ball and Minors coaches

All interested workers MUST be available Monday-Sunday 8am-9pm and sometimes later or earlier times, and be available from May 14th through August 18th.  In addition, interested workers should be available to work special events throughout the summer season (including weekend events).

Applications & interest forms can be picked up from the Recreation Department inside the Calvin K. Richard Senior/Youth Activity Center.  The Recreation Department’s office hours are Monday-Thursday 9:00am-4:00pm and Fridays 9am-12pm.  All completed forms must be filled out & returned by Wednesday, February 28th.
